Thailand has now made Pelton's list? Well, then I've been to one of Pelton's Dangerous Places. Only the worst "danger" I encountered was street kids who bite if you don't buy the gum they are hawking.
Frankly, I was more worried about those kids in Chuuk, Micronesia -- in their school uniforms, mind you -- who reach right into your pocket to try to grab your money, don't even try to be sneaky about it.
Live was I ere I saw evil. |
